सीएसआईआर-सीबीआरआई, रुड़की ने सीएसआईआर का 84वां स्थापना दिवस मनाया

रुड़की। सीएसआईआर-केंद्रीय भवन अनुसंधान संस्थान (सीबीआरआई), रुड़की ने रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर ऑडिटोरियम में एक भव्य कार्यक्रम के साथ सीएसआईआर का 84वां स्थापना दिवस बड़ी धूमधाम से मनाया। इस अवसर पर, भवन विज्ञान और अनुसंधान में संस्थान के उल्लेखनीय योगदानों को स्मरण किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में कर्मचारियों, छात्रों और गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।
पद्मश्री प्रो. सुधीर कुमार जैन, पूर्व कुलपति, बनारस हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय एवम् संस्थापक निदेशक, भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, गांधीनगर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे । समारोह की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्ज्वलन के साथ हुई, इसके बाद सीएसआईआर-सीबीआरआई, रुड़की के निदेशक प्रो. आर. प्रदीप कुमार ने स्वागत भाषण दिया। अपने भाषण में उन्होंने संस्थान के योगदान पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने विभिन्न अनुसंधान एवं विकास सुविधाओं को भी रेखांकित किया। इसके पश्चात एक वर्ष के अंतराल में सीएसआईआर-सीबीआरआई की सेवा से अधिवर्षिता पर सेवानिवृत हुए कार्मिकों को मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा सम्मान पत्र, शॉल और कलाई घड़ी भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया। साथ ही 25 वर्ष की निरंतर सेवा पूर्ण कर चुके कार्मिकों को भी कलाई घड़ी भेंट की गई ।
इसके उपरान्त मुख्य अतिथि की उपस्थिति में संस्थान के प्रधान वैज्ञानिक डॉ. चन्दन स्वरूप मीना द्वारा विकसित सोलर एयर कन्डिशनर और वाटर हीटर की तकनीक का प्रौद्योगिकी हस्तांतरण ASK RENEWABLE PVT LTD, पुणे, महाराष्ट्र को किया गया। यह अभिनव तकनीक, ऊर्जा दक्ष हीटिंग और स्पेस कंडीशनिंग समाधान प्रदान करती है तथा स्वच्छ ऊर्जा एवं कार्बन उत्सर्जन में कमी की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है।
इसके पश्चात डॉ. डी.पी. कानूनगो, मुख्य वैज्ञानिक एवं अध्यक्ष, स्थापना दिवस आयोजन समिति ने मुख्य अतिथि पद्मश्री प्रो. सुधीर कुमार जैन का परिचय प्रस्तुत किया। मुख्य अतिथि ने अपने संबोधन में सीएसआईआर – सीबीआरआई को उनकी उपलब्धियों पर बधाई दी और कहा कि नई तकनीक भवन विज्ञान को नई दिशा देने के साथ-साथ भारत की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा एवं सतत विकास लक्ष्यों को पूरा करने में सहायक सिद्ध होगी। साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान के लिए परस्पर सहयोग एवं सकारात्मक सोच तथा प्रेरक वातावरण आवश्यक है। श्री प्रदीप कुमार वरिष्ठ प्रशासन नियंत्रक ने सभी का धन्यवाद किया। इस आयोजन समिति के अध्यक्ष डॉ. डी.पी. कानूनगो, मुख्य वैज्ञानिक रहे।
प्रो. आर. प्रदीप कुमार ने समारोह के मुख्य अतिथि को स्मृति चिह्न और शॉल भेंट की । कार्यक्रम का संचालन प्रो. एस. के. सिंह, मुख्य वैज्ञानिक द्वारा किया गया ।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि ने गृह एवं यांत्रिक अनुप्रयोगों के लिए स्वचालन एवं विश्लेषण (आज्ञा) – आई ओ टी प्रयोगशाला का उद्घाटन किया। यह प्रयोगशाला श्री चंद्रभान पटेल, वैज्ञानिक; श्री कांती सोलंकी, वैज्ञानिक; तथा डॉ. एस. के. पाणिग्राही, मुख्य वैज्ञानिक द्वारा विकसित की गई है। इसके अतिरिक्त, निर्माण प्रौद्योगिकी प्रदर्शन पार्क, राष्ट्रीय भूकंप अभियांत्रिकी परीक्षण सुविधा (NEETF) और 3डी कंक्रीट प्रिंटेड प्रयोगशाला के भ्रमण का संचालन डॉ. अजय चौरसिया, मुख्य वैज्ञानिक, श्री आशीष पिप्पल, प्रधान वैज्ञानिक, डॉ. किशोर कुलकर्णी, प्रधान वैज्ञानिक, डॉ. चंचल सोनकर, प्रधान वैज्ञानिक और श्री आशीष कपूर वैज्ञानिक द्वारा किया गया । इसके साथ ही, मुख्य अतिथि ने प्रदर्शनी गैलरी का भी भ्रमण किया।
कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्र गान के साथ हुआ । इस अवसर पर एक सांस्कृतिक संध्या का आयोजन भी किया गया।

CSIR-CBRI, Roorkee Celebrated the 84th CSIR Foundation Day

The CSIR-Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee celebrated the 84th CSIR Foundation Day with great enthusiasm at the Rabindranath Tagore Auditorium. On this occasion, the institute’s remarkable contributions in the field of building science and research were recalled. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from staff members, students, and dignitaries.
Padma Shri Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain, Former Vice-Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University and Founding Director of the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address by Prof. R. Pradeep Kumar, Director, CSIR-CBRI, Roorkee. In his address, he highlighted the institute’s contributions and emphasized its various research and developed facilities and various initiatives. On this occasion, employees who retired upon attaining superannuation during the past year were felicitated by the Chief Guest with citation certificates, shawls, and wristwatches. In addition, employees who completed 25 years of continuous service were presented with wristwatches.
Subsequently, in the presence of the Chief Guest, a technology transfer was carried out. The solar air-conditioner and water heater technology, developed by Principal Scientist Dr. Chandan Swaroop Meena, was formally transferred to ASK Renewable Pvt. Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra. This innovative technology provides energy-efficient heating and space conditioning solutions and represents a significant step towards clean energy utilization and carbon emission reduction.
Following this, Dr. D. P. Kanungo, Chief Scientist and Chairman Foundation organizing committee, introduced the Chief Guest, Padma Shri Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain, who in his address congratulated CSIR-CBRI on its achievements and remarked that this new technology would not only provide a new direction to building science but would also play a vital role in enhancing India’s energy security and achieving sustainable development goals
Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Senior Controller of Administration, delivered the vote of thanks. The Organising Committee Chairman of the event was Dr. D. P. Kanungo, Chief Scientist. As a token of respect, Prof. R. Pradeep Kumar, Director, CSIR-CBRI, presented a memento and a shawl to the Chief Guest. The event was conducted by Prof. S. K. Singh, Chief Scientist.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest also inaugurated the Automation & Analytics for Griha and Yantrik Applications (AAGYA) – IoT Lab, developed by Mr. Chandrabhan Patel, Scientist; Mr. Kanti Solanki, Scientist; and Dr. S. K. Panigrahi, Chief Scientist. In addition, the visits to the Construction Technology Demonstration Park, the National Earthquake Engineering Test Facility (NEETF), and the 3D Concrete Printing Laboratory were coordinated by Dr. Ajay Chaurasia, Chief Scientist, Mr. Ashish Pippal, Principal Scientist, Dr Kishor Kulakarni, Principal Scientist, Dr. Chanchal Sonkar, Principal Scientist. And Mr. Ashish Kapoor, Scientist. The Chief Guest also visited the exhibition gallery.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, followed by a cultural evening that showcased enthusiastic participation by the staff and students of the institute.
